Salon Policies & Guidelines

 

Effective March 2026


At Wonder Rose Hair Studio, we operate with professional standards to ensure a calm, respectful, and high-quality experience for every client. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following policies.





Appointments & Deposits



All appointments require a deposit to secure the booking.


• Deposits must be paid within 12 hours of booking

• If the deposit is not received within 12 hours, the appointment will be automatically cancelled and released

• An unpaid booking is not confirmed and does not exist in our system


Deposits are non-refundable and are deducted from the total service cost.





Services & Add-On Charges



All services provided are non-refundable.


If an additional service or add-on is carried out during your appointment (including where a stylist may initially overlook charging for it), payment is still required.


If payment for an add-on service is missed:

• We will contact you to arrange immediate payment

• Failure to settle an outstanding balance may result in restricted future bookings

• Continued non-payment may be pursued through formal debt recovery or the UK Small Claims Court, where appropriate


Outstanding balances must be cleared before any future appointments can be booked.





Service Satisfaction



If you have any concerns regarding your service, you must notify us within 48 hours of your appointment.


We are committed to addressing genuine concerns and will review each case carefully. Outcomes are at the discretion of the studio and may include adjustments where appropriate.


We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a service if it is deemed unsafe or not in the client’s best interest.





Professional Conduct



We maintain a respectful, professional salon environment at all times.


Abusive language, aggressive behaviour, harassment, or conduct that disrupts staff or other clients will not be tolerated and may result in:

• immediate refusal of service

• termination of the appointment without refund

• permanent restriction from future bookings


Clients are encouraged to raise concerns calmly and directly so they can be addressed appropriately.





Photography, Recording & Social Media



For privacy and professionalism:

• Recording or photography during services is not permitted without prior consent

• Photos may be taken after your service with permission


Wonder Rose Hair Studio may take before, during, or after photos of services for professional and promotional use. If you prefer not to have your face shown, please inform us and we will respect your preference.


Any online content that misrepresents the studio, staff, or services may be addressed formally. Clients are always welcome to leave honest and fair reviews reflecting their genuine experience.





Health, Safety & Hygiene



• CCTV is in operation on the premises for safety and security

• Clients must disclose any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or scalp concerns prior to service

• We adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation standards at all times


Failure to disclose relevant information may affect the outcome of a service, for which the studio cannot be held responsible.





Punctuality & Late Arrivals



Appointments are scheduled carefully to ensure focused, unrushed service.


• Arrivals more than 15 minutes late will incur a £10 late fee

• If the late fee is declined:

– future bookings may be restricted, or

– full payment may be required before booking again


If you anticipate being late, please notify us as soon as possible. We will accommodate where schedule permits.





Cancellations & No-Shows



We value your time and ours.



48-Hour Notice Required



Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 48 hours before the appointment.



Late Cancellations (Less Than 48 Hours)



Charged 50% of the service price



Same-Day Cancellations & No-Shows



Charged 100% of the service price



Deposits



• Deposits are non-refundable

• Deposits may only be transferred when rescheduling with more than 48 hours’ notice



Outstanding Balances



Any unpaid cancellation or no-show fees must be settled before future bookings can be made.





Right to Refuse Service



Wonder Rose Hair Studio reserves the right to refuse service or future bookings where a client relationship is deemed unsuitable or policies are repeatedly breached.





Final Notes



These policies are in place to protect our clients, our team, and the quality of service we provide.
